Colorado Criminal Offenses and Crimes Involving the Making, Financing, or Collection of Loans
The Colorado Crime of Extortionate extension of credit 18-15-102
Any agreement between a creditor and a debtor to the effect that delay or failure in making repayment for extension of credit will result in the use of extortionate means of collection is a class 4 felony. 18-15-102
The Colorado Crime of Criminal usury 18-15-104 (1)
Any person who knowingly charges, takes, or receives any money or other property as a loan finance charge where the charge exceeds an annual percentage rate of 45 percent or the equivalent for a longer or shorter period commits a class 6 felony. 18-15-104 (1)
The Colorado Crime of Financing extortionate extensions of credit 18-15-105
Any person advancing money or property to another whom he or she reasonably suspects will use such money or property for the purpose of making an extortionate extension of credit commits a class 5 Felony. 18-15-105
The Colorado Crime of Financing criminal usury 18-15-106
Any person who finances criminal usury commits a class 6 felony. 18-15-106
The Colorado Crime of Collection of extensions of credit by extortionate means 18-15-107 (2)
Any person who uses extortionate means to collect any extension of credit commits a class 4 felony.18-15-107 (2)
The Colorado Crime of Records of criminal usury 18-15-108 (1)
Any person who possesses or conceals records of criminally serious transactions with intent to aid, assist, or facilitate criminal usury commits a class 6 felony. 18-15-108 (1)
The Colorado Crime of Loan finders . 18-15-109 (4)
Violation by a loan finder of the prohibition against charging or collecting any fee from a borrower until a borrower actually receives the agreed-upon loan is a class 1 misdemeanor. 18-15-109 (4)

The Colorado Crime of Violation of “Purchase of Valuable Articles” statute 18-16-108
Any person who violates the provisions of Article 16 of Title 18 regarding the purchase and sale of valuable articles, or who knowingly gives false information regarding the seller of a valuable article commits a class 6 felony. 18-16-108
